I'm sorry, I am unable to get Blogger to publish anything for me this morning. Keeps giving me html error messages. I will continue to work on the problem--whatever it is. In the meantime, I will investigate other hosts. Frankly, I'm pretty tired of Bloggers antics.

Try clearing your web browser's cache and cookies and try again.
Is it a photo problem? I play around with the html stuff on posts quite a bit, so I might be able to help you if you haven't resolved the problem yet. Blogger gets funky once in a while, but so do all the other ones.
Hi Rambling Woods, cache is empty, this is something different. Thanks for your support.

Hi MMD, actually I have multiple problems. First uploading photos. They need to be so small and even then it takes many tries to get them uploaded. The thing that frustrated me Monday; I had written out the text on Word. Blogger wouldn't accept it. It used to, but not anymore. I kept getting text formatting error messages. It wouldn't take note pad either.
I finally deleted it all and typed the text directly into blogger. Wouldn't take it. Had to delete the entire draft and start all over.
Sorry for rambling but my frustration level was extreme.

Marnie, sorry to hear you're having problems again. Yes, as MMD said, Blogger does get mighty funky at times (and usually clearing the cache does it for me), especially when they're doing live updates on it.
As for the photos, here's a couple of suggestions (maybe you're already doing it, if so, apologies). I see you're hosting at Flickr rather than blogger, which is good. But how are you uploading the photos? Do you use that 'blog it' button or show all sizes and then select the size? I never use the blog it thingie, it's glitchy on me. I just upload as usual to Flickr, then go to All Sizes, choose my size and then paste the URL into the Blogger dialogue box for inserting photos. Works pretty much all of the time for me ... anyway, you might try that if you're not doing so already!
As for pasting from Word, I can see how that could cause some funkiness because Word formats invisible sometimes incompatible characters into its files, especially things like line feeds and ellipses, so that could be part of the problem. Notepad should not have given you that grief though. Ya got me there.
I hate it when that happens. We had the problem for two weeks - it eventually came right on its own.
Sorry it's taken me a bit of time to get back here. I always resize my photos down to about 500 pixels to save space on my Picasa account. Usually I don't have a problem with uploading, but sometimes Blogger's having a bad hair day & still gives me trouble. But then I upload directly from my computer, so I don't know how it works from Flikr. I hope things smooth out for you.
