"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June." - L. M. Montgomery

Pink was the color of my mid-June garden.

I buy these and move them around trying to find a site they like.  My soil is gummy clay and they don't care for it overwinter.  This year I've put them on a slope hoping the drainage will be better.

Lots of clematis blooming.

Heirloom rose Paul Neyron.  Love the big, pink cabbages.

First bloom on hybrid tea Nearly Wild.

Another first bloom on hybrid tea Double Delight.  This rose is the most delicious strawberries and cream color.  The sun causes the blooms to redden so the longer the bloom remains on the plant, the darker it becomes.

This spring Max Frei began blooming early in May and shows no sign of stopping.  It is the most well behaved geranium, making a neat mound and covering itself in bloom.

Tempest is obsessed with hunting chipmunks in the flower beds.  He catches field mice but the chipmunks and squirrels have eluded him so far.  I've lost several garden plants to frantic chipmunk chases.

'Double Delight' was one of three first roses I ever grew. I was 19. It still makes me smile. I also grew 'Paul Neyron' for several years. Thank you for your pictures. If only we could live in a world that is ever June.~~Dee

I love love love your cat statue! I think I need a cat statue somewhere in the garden :) So many pretty flowers. I love the Paul Neyron rose and the geranium. I got a similar looking geranium from another gardener, and I wonder if it is the same variety. It blooms such a nice long time.

June is such a lovely month and your flowers all look so lovely ... yes, Pink was certainly the color of your mid-June garden.

I wonder what July may bring?

All the best Jan

I'm thinking June all year round would be heaven for me... Actually, maybe that's what heaven will be like! We have very heavy clay soil here, so I find myself moving plants around too. It's amazing how they can do so much better in a different place. We have too many chipmunks here , but our dog is way too slow to catch anything! Your flowers are beautiful !

Beautiful and my favorite colors. I too have clay and a challenge to find plants that can take it. Happy 4th to you.... Michelle

Yes, there are times, especially right now, when I would like to hit the "pause" button so the garden could stay the way it is at that moment. Your clematis and roses look so beautiful; sadly, my older clematis didn't bloom this year for some reason, and my roses are looking pitiful. There are lots of rabbit chases in my garden right now:) Pesky little critters, they seem to taunt Sophie and the other dogs who haven't caught one yet.
